Shrimp Stock Soup
I can’t believe I have lived this long without making shrimp stock. I love to get intimate with my food (and I am cheap), so I buy shrimp uncooked/uncleaned when it is on sale. Then I get to de-shell, clean, and cook them up.
These Key West shrimp still had their heads. We thought we would try to make stock with the discards- and it worked.. The stock made our Shrimp Stock Soup salty and fishy and so good. The rest of the soup is basically made of leftovers and some noodles. Strange and well, strange. Here’s the recipe.
