Jelly Goat Cheese Straws
So much jam in the house… We are celebrating the Oscars and more snow! Appropriately inspired by Oprah.
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1/4 cup of leftover jam (IPA beer jelly?)
- 2.5 ounces goat cheese
Roll out the puff pastry big and cut in half. Spread the goat cheese and the jam on one side, cover with the other side. Cut into 1/2 inch pieces on the short edge. Makes about 24. Twist them up on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes in a 400 degree oven. They will brown a bit, and the jam might leak, so take them off the baking sheet before they cool.. Let them cool and they will harden into little straws you cant stop eating..
